The challenges
For the challenging change process toward becoming an Innovative Labor Organization with self-organizing and self-steering teams, Familiehulp chose Walk Your Talk as its preferred partner. Specifically, newly formed care teams of domestic helpers and caregivers were launched across all their regions. Each team was given more responsibilities and authority with the goal of responding more quickly to the questions and needs of clients. For the managers, we established a leadership trajectory based on candid and shared leadership. Internal training staff were trained as facilitators/coaches so that they, in turn, could train their frontline workers in dealing with organizational changes and newly formed teams.
